Securing Fleet Operations Against GPS Spoofing

Telemetry data is vulnerable to packet interception and GPS spoofing. A driver can modify GPRS coordinates using signal repeaters or firmware modifications to bypass boundary violations.
STOMP solves this by requiring all OBD hardware modules to sign telemetry headers using an HMAC-SHA256 signature calculated from a secure key flashed on the device at provisioning. If the signature doesn't match the coordinates stream on the backend, the event is immediately flagged as a high-risk violation.
